Where are the Greek Gods now

Dos asked, the little room in the universe, do you think there is a relationship between cultural perceptions and the ancient Greek mythologies.

Dollcee was polite and acknowledged Dos’s question, she said, we are digi-kidz Dos and I have no knowledge of ancient Greek mythology.

Dos said, I have been reading some posts by a professor who is currently driving a taxi because no institution will fund her academic research, which is, where are the ancient Greek Gods today?

Dollcee said, thanks for the preamble, Dos, but what does this taxi driving professor have to say?

Dos was his usual vague self and it took him a little while to remember where his was with his train of thought.

Ah yes, Dos exclaimed, we often discuss that most of our existence is actually spent within our own heads. Our thoughts or perception is our primary occupation and these thoughts can often be totally unrelated to what is actually happening around us or even the tasks we are performing.

Dollcee said, I would say that is a fair description of you Dos, also known as, Mister Day Dreamer.

Dos ignored Dollcee’s interruption and went on, the professor separates the day-to-day activities of the ancients Greeks from their explanations of existence, by referring to the latter as the mythologies.

She claims that the way the mythologies were part of the culture were not that different to how the current culture relates to film and online media now. The ancient Greek Gods, the professor claims, are the same as today’s entertainment and sport Celebrities.

Dollcee said, your taxi driving professor sounds like she would be a lot of fun to have a chat with.

Cybo said, if I ever end up with a surplus of wealth, I would like to ride around in her taxi and listen to her thesis and ask her questions about what is and what is not real, in her opinion.

Dos said, I wonder if the machine language corporations have listening devices in taxis for development purposes.

Dollcee said, I suppose digi-kidz are continuing on with the ancient Greek God thing and often, cannot distinguish between entertainment and their own reality.

Padoke turned away from his television and looked at Dollcee, Dos and Cybo, shook his head and then, shut his eyes, while muttering, it is mainly perception, although, I am sure my lunch was real.
